Hi to whomever might be considering buying Mapp's course! I'm a happy, fully satisfied student of the first course Mapp made, and here's why Flutter Mapp's teaching style was exactly what I needed (quite a long review incoming)

Almost all courses claim to be straight to the point, but that's usually a lie. In order to prove their own intelligence, because of dogmatic industry standards, as page-filler, or just with the best of intentions, many teachers overfeed you theory when really what you want as a fledgling programmer is to start tinkering around and learning by doing ASAP. Louis-Philippe isn't like those teachers. 

He really gets down to business, shows you how something works, gives you a challenge and then solves the challenge with you. Taking his course was so fulfilling and encouraging thanks to how fast it went without being too difficult. It was just realistic and practical. So I totally recommend this course if you want to learn programming while having fun with it. 

When he has a bug he didn't expect, he doesn't cut it out of the lecture footage. He instead shows you how HE approaches the problem, looks it up, puzzles his way through, and teaches you to think like a programmer. This was so valuable for me, because now I approach flutter bugs with humor and not with anger thanks to his example. 

Mapp isn't a native English speaker, and that's great. Not just me, but other students as well have praised his simple to understand usage of words and limited usage of jargon. He shows rather than tells whenever possible, and when he does explain, he does so in a way anyone can understand. By the way, despite not being a native speaker, his English is plenty good enough just to be clear.

I have successfully built an app thanks to his course along with some other youtube sources, and I couldn't have done it so fast without him. 10/10 would recommend the basic course, especially if you want to get right to building, and am looking forward to the advanced course to answer some theoretical questions I have and to keep growing.   Big thanks and keep it up!   Hope this helps anyone interested.
